It's been a really long time since I have posted. If anyone reads this, I apologize. I don't think anyone actually reads my postings, so I don't really think I have much to apologize for, but...
Just wanted to drop a note here about my work/job. I am not at all happy with where I work. I work for the local cable company (name omitted to protect my paycheck) and have been sorely disappointed at the way the company treats people.
We get sick days, but are not allowed to use them. We get holidays, but must work them, we get promises about pay increases, but don't see them. We deal with the general public.l Anyone who deals with the public will realize what a mess that can be.
We know you are paying for services and you aren't getting them, but calling me a mother f**ker will not made the problem go away. If you feel better after threatening to come beat me up, it's cool, but keep in mind I know where you live, I don't take kindly to being threatened and I stand 6'4" tall, weight 230LBS and am generally not afraid of you. If you really and truly want to know when I get off work, I am happy to tell you and you are more than welcome to come to the parking lot to meet me.
It is not my fault that the consumption is high and you can't get the movie on Pay per View you want. I want to supply you with a perfect picture and the fact you are getting tiling/pixelation is something I truly wish I could fix. I am not in control of the finances of the company, I don't raise your bill, I don't force you to have every movie channel, every Pay Per View and all the add ons you have, so please don't yell at me because you have 8 cable boxes, 4 of those being DVR boxes, you have all the movie channels and your bill is high. I will do all I can to get your cost down, but screaming at me, calling me names and threatening me is not going to help.
Lastly, when you are without services, I want to send a tech as soon as possible. However, I am physically unable to shit a tech and have them at your door in 15 minutes. No matter how many times you call me names, how many times you threaten me, how much you yell, the tech is not going to get there any sooner.
